Full-time Flyers Club Lead - Before and After School
- Schedule Monday-Friday, to follow school year calendar, August-May
- Recurring shift(s): 6:15-8:45 a.m, 3:30-6 p.m., plus additional weekly 2.5 hour duties; minimum of 30 hours/week
- Additional hours for early release days and school’s out days
- Potential for summer hours
- Starting hourly rate: $15.33

Summary: Maintains a safe environment for children; follows all safety procedures, works with Site Supervisor and Group Aide to implement activities and fosters a nurturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming, compassionate climate
- Maintains a clean, safe, organized and orderly environment
- Aware of and reports all broken equipment and unsafe situations
- Models respect and caring in relationships with children, parents, families, colleagues and community
- Responsible for social development of children
- Utilizes positive strategies to guide children’s social behavior to maintain an effective learning environment
- Greets families each day
- Monitor all aspects of the program site as related to children’s safety
- Reads Sub File when entering a classroom to be familiar with the child information contained therein
- Responsible for implementation of the current lesson plan or verbal or written plan
- Responsible for making sure all accommodation plans are followed to ensure the success of every child
- Required to attend all mandatory trainings
- Available to work on early release days and School’s Out days
- Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings
- Ability to push or lift up to 50 lbs
- May require irregular hours: morning and/or afternoon/evening
- Must have reliable transportation
- Perform duties indoors and outdoors
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree, or minimum of 18 years old, college credits preferred, and experience working with children in a similar setting
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office software applications, Google applications, and basic technology
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Obtain adult and child CPR/First Aid certification within three months of hiring date, Annual TB test, Hepatitis “A” vaccine, 12 hours of Professional Development annually, and Fingerprint/Background check
